Dear Friends
I have now returned from a wonderful summer in Tuscany and I wanted to share a little of the experience with you.
Surrounded by the rolling hills, golden light and centuries of history and having found a new house with more room in Chianni, a village near Volterra, life in Tuscany is full of inspiration beyond the studio too! We now have an olive grove on the hills with around 250 trees and this October we are hoping for a reasonable harvest and to make olive oil. Although it is uncertain how much oil this season will bring, I have been busy and enjoyed designing the labels and preparing the bottles eagerly awaiting to fill them with our first oil. It's such an exciting new chapter.
What I cherish the most is the soft lighting filtering through the trees, the stillness and the sense of peace. These quiet moments ground me and feed directly into my work. One of my dreams has also come true this summer when I was fortunate enough to be approached by a gallery in Florence to show my work, an amazing opportunity I just couldn't miss. Fortunately I have always been driven by a deadline and have created 6 paintings now showing at Roccart Gallery in the wonderful city of Florence.

Having now returned to Sussex I am inspired to work on some large scale paintings that allow me to fully immerse myself in colour gesture and atmosphere.I am excited to share more with you soon as this new collection develops.
Thank you as always for following my journey and supporting my work, you provide me with the courage and inspiration to explore my ideas and put them onto canvas.
Natalie x
