Painted from observation in the Sussex countryside, this oil study captures cows moving between the river and the grassy banks. Scenes like this often appear on my daily walks, where animals wander in and out of the water and become part of the quiet rhythm of the landscape.
I’m drawn to these everyday moments in the countryside, where light, movement and atmosphere combine to create a strong sense of place.
