Inspired by a quiet moment in my Tuscan village of Chianni, this painting captures the beauty of everyday stillness. I was drawn to the gentle focus of her hands as she knitted.. a simple, timeless act that felt symbolic of slowing down, routine and the quiet poetry of ordinary life. It forms part of my ongoing exploration of intimate, reflective moments and the connections we find in them.
