Not Alone is a contemporary landscape painting exploring presence, movement and quiet connection with the land. A solitary figure and dog, walks through an open landscape, suggesting companionship rather than isolation.
Gold paint is layered into the surface, catching the light and shifting as the viewer moves.
This painting was made in response to walking as a grounding, reflective act, moments where moving through nature feels steadying and inward, as well as physical. The land is not observed from a distance, but experienced as something that holds and accompanies us.
